All eyes are blind; It is the eye in the brain that sees, which is the eye of the soul

ALL EYES ARE BLIND; IT IS THE EYE IN THE BRAIN THAT SEES, WHICH IS THE EYE OF THE SOUL

(Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on March 16th, 2010)

ADNAN OKTAR: "Who created me, and it is He Who guides me. Who gives me food and drink." (Surah Ash-Shuara, 78-79) In other words, he says, "I do not eat and drink myself." He says He [Allah] is the One Who carries out the acts of eating and drinking. For instance he takes a spoon and starts eating. It is Allah Who brings the action and image of eating, completely everything, into being. In other words, a person cannot say, "I have eaten." Allah makes him eat. "Who gives me drink." (Surah Ash-Shuara, 78-79) I said just the other day: that I am drinking linden tea. Allah lifts the cup into the air, brings it to me and allows me to drink. He makes my hand His instrument. Allah shows my hand as if it exists. Whereas it is Allah Who creates my hand in my brain. My hand does exist on the outside, but it is transparent because of its atomic structure. I have explained that before. But I have no direct experience of that transparent hand. I only experience the image in my brain. Allah creates the act of drinking inside my brain. Therefore, look when I lift it up, it is Allah Who brings it from there to here and pours out the contents. Allah performs the act of pouring. And then Almighty Allah puts it back in its place. See? He uses my hand as His instrument and I replace it. But Pelin may not know about this. You are now watching me here. But I am an image in your brain. Isn't that right?
PRESENTER: True.
ADNAN OKTAR: Right. My voice also forms in your brain. That is also true. Do you hear my voice in your brain?
PRESENTER: Yes.
ADNAN OKTAR: That is also true.
PRESENTER: I hear by means of my brain.
ADNAN OKTAR: The sound waves belonging to my voice come towards you. They reach your ear. But it is not the ear that does hear. The ear just transmits them to the brain, and you therefore hear inside your brain. You hear the electric current that reaches the brain, inside your brain. For example, does that cup you are drinking tea out of exist in your brain, or on the outside?
PRESENTER: Again in the brain?
ADNAN OKTAR: It again forms in the brain, of course. You do not have direct experience of the cup on the outside. It does exist on the outside, but it is transparent.
PRESENTER: But there is the cup.
ADNAN OKTAR: The cup does exist on the outside. But the cup you have direct experience of is the one in your brain, isn't it?
PRESENTER: They are both the same cup.
ADNAN OKTAR: But the cup you have direct experience of, the one you experience and refer to as that cup, is the image in your brain. You do not directly experience the one on the outside. That is different. It is a separate object. The world you are living and experiencing is what is important. What you call the cup is the image in your brain. The taste out of the cup also forms in your brain. The sense of touch also arises in the brain. Therefore, since it is Allah Who creates all these, it is also Allah Who makes you drink from the cup and makes you eat. Allah creates them all. Allah also says, "I have created" external matter. But that is again a shadow entity. In other words, the atom does not in fact have the structure we assume. Atom is the condensed form energy, it is the condensed energy. Therefore, if we were able to look at the atom through an objective eye, in fact all we could see would be darkness. Even though if we eliminated that darkness, we would see that matter is transparent. Because the components of the atom, that are the neutrons, protons and electrons, are all at a distance from one another. That is why they have such a perforated structure and they look transparent due to that distance. Also there is no color on the outside and it is the brain that perceives color. That is the interpretation of the brain. There is no such thing as red or green on the outside. There is no color or light on the outside. There are waves, only waves. But the brain perceives these waves as light. For instance, when we look at the Sun, the Sun is actually pitch black, totally dark. The Sun just emits photons, light rays. But we receive the light rays in waves, and the brain perceives those waves as light. Not that any such thing exists on the outside. Did you know that?
PRESENTER: No, I have just learned it from you.
ADNAN OKTAR: This is a fact confirmed by modern science. All scientists are in agreement on this subject. On this being as described. For example, I am now speaking to you. I am speaking inside your brain. Is that right?
PRESENTER: Yes, so it would seem, from what you were just saying.
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. As I speak to you, I am also speaking to you inside my brain. When I say [your name] 'Pelin' for instance, a pleasant image forms in my brain. And I have direct experience of that. My hand and your hand are in the same place. My face and yours are in the same place, right in my brain.
PRESENTER: Interesting.
ADNAN OKTAR: Definitely. This is also a scientific fact. I am speaking as if you were right across to me, about a meter away. But that is not the truth. I form totally inside you. We are actually speaking one within the other. Your voice and mine form in the same place. This is a scientific fact that nobody can deny. It is a fact that neither believers nor non-believers can deny.
ALTUG BERKER: Just like in a dream.
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, like in a dream. Don't we speak like this, to one another, in our dreams?
PRESENTER: Yes.
ADNAN OKTAR: But we are in the same place, aren't we? But it looks as if we are apart from one another, doesn't it? This world is a dream exactly the same way. One moves from dream to dream, but to a clearer dream. We will move on to a much sharper dream when we die. But it will still be like a dream. That is the system Allah has created. Almighty Allah informs about this when He says, "Who gives me food and drink." "And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me." (Surah Ash-Shuara, 80) For example, he goes to the doctor, but the doctor is created inside his brain. He picks up medicines, a tiny little thing like that. He is shown a tiny white thing, called a pill, inside his brain. But note that this is still an image in the brain. He is shown that he is swallowing it and he imagines that the medicine made him well. But it is not the medicine that cures him. Allah makes the medicine an instrument but Allah is the One Who directly creates the cure, that good health. However the general public suppose they recover because he took that Aspirin or Gripin. Such a thing is impossible.
PRESENTER: If one is going to get better, that is what will happen. So is there then any need to take the medicine at all?
ADNAN OKTAR: No, one must still embrace natural causes. They exist. For example, I have to have an intention to reach out with my hand to this cup of linden tea. And I am given a feeling of reaching out with my hand. The cup is brought towards me. I have that intention to do it. But the system in the Paradise is not like that. When I have the sense of the cup, of drinking, the cup is brought towards me. There is no need to reach out with my hand. It comes directly close to me, of its own accord.
PRESENTER: Like doing it through the power of thought.
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes. It will directly come nearer as if I have my hand out to it. Now, my hand is lying here still, and it is an object made of flesh and blood, isn't it? But normally, flesh and blood does not have capacity to listen. For instance, if we tell a piece of meat we get from the butcher, "Meat move right now", it will not move or do anything. There is the soul that commands the flesh what to do. That is the Spirit of Allah. The soul Allah has breathed into us. We tell our flesh to "Raise your hand", and the flesh lifts the hand into the air. We tell it to pick the cup up, and it does so. But that is all shown to us that way, inside our brains.
PRESENTER: But Allah is the One Who cures and heals the sick. The person will be cured or otherwise, whether he takes his medicine or not.
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, that is correct.
PRESENTER: But if he is not going to get better even if gets the medicine, then it does not matter how much medicine he takes. So, if he is going to get better, is there any need for him to take that medicine? I reach this kind of a question.
ADNAN OKTAR: Natural causes are very important. One needs to employ all kinds of natural causes. For example, one falls ill in the cold. Then he has to dress up in the cold. One can fall ill or even die if he does not eat at all. Then he must definitely eat. Allah requires that we employ these natural causes. Allah has created a perfect artistry of causes. He has created a chain of causes and one needs to get use of all these causes. Your hair will not look tidy if you don't comb it. For example, Allah creates all kinds of clothing. Allah says, "He made you garments" (Surah An-Nahl, 81). That is right, isn't it? Allah says, "He gives us food and drink." Allah creates all kinds of clothing. He says "He made you garments." In this verse Allah says He is the One, Who causes us to be dressed. Allah gives the impression that clothing is made in the readymade garment workshop. But clothes actually form inside our brains. Everyone wears the clothes in his brain. He cannot wear any clothing on the outside. He cannot drive a car on the outside. For instance, when you get in your car, Allah gives you the image that you drive off. You suppose that you have gone off. That is a perception your brain gives you. For example, if you pay attention, you will see there is an oval screen in front of us. There is a car on the outside, but Allah never allows us to have direct experience with it. We always perceive and interact with its image. Nobody can ever have direct experience of the object on the outside. It is not possible. It is as if one continually watches on a monitor or a television screen in his brain. And do you know the size of that television screen? It is just that big [as the tip of a pen].
PRESENTER: The blind spot?
ADNAN OKTAR: No, the center for conscious perception in the brain. Just that big, a tiny piece of flesh. A tiny piece of flesh with blood flowing through it. The entire universe, the whole world, and life itself forms there. For example, a man looking at the Sun or the Moon says, "How perfect the Moon looks, it has opened out as a full Moon." He looks at the Moon, but does he actually see the Moon in his brain or the Moon on the outside?
PRESENTER: He sees the Moon inside his brain.
ADNAN OKTAR: Surely, the one in his brain. In other words, nobody can see the Moon on the outside. They cannot see the real Moon. There is a real Moon, but they cannot see it.
PRESENTER: Is it transparent?
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, all the matter on the outside is transparent. It has to be like that because of its structure. It stems from the neutrons, protons and electrons being at a distance from one another. And there is no light on the outside. Light forms directly in the brain. The outside is pitch darkness, totally black. There is not the slightest sound on the outside. Sound is also the brain's interpretation. You know the brain converts sound waves into electrical impulses. The brain then receives that electric current as sound. That is how the brain interprets the electricity. Images also come to the brain as electrical impulses. The brain interprets that electric current as an image. All ears are deaf. A person's ears hear nothing. It is the ear in the brain that hears. That is the ear of the soul. And no eyes see. All eyes are blind, all of them. A person's both eyes are blind. It is the eye in the brain that sees, which is the eye of the soul. Human eye does not see. How would it see anyway? The two eyes are just cameras, merely cameras made of flesh. These cameras just convert the image into electrical energy; that is all. They have no other specialty other then transmitting them to the brain. Finally they arrive at the center for conscious perception and he sees all in that center of consciousness.
PRESENTER: So can we infer from what you have said about the center of consciousness, that this small piece of flesh you call the center for conscious perception is where the body and soul communicate? That it is a spot where they touch one another? Can one say that?
ADNAN OKTAR: Allah creates consciousness as a natural cause. Look, causes are really important. Allah has a causal artistry. When we say where they meet, that address in our consciousness is there. It happens to be that tiny piece of flesh. Allah says they meet there, and He shows us that place. He creates a natural cause for that, in other words.
PRESENTER: That is also a natural cause.
ADNAN OKTAR: Just a natural cause. First of all, Allah has created a wonderful chain of causes. For example, I hand the Qur'an to you. In fact, Allah is handing it to you. But it looks as if I am doing it. Or I open up a page in the Qur'an and the related page comes up. In fact, Allah opens up that page. I begin reading and speaking, but Allah is the One Who speaks. Allah creates my voice. We are souls that are in submission to Allah inside our brains. Otherwise, we have no other features. Our bodies do exist on the outside as an object, but it is in pitch darkness on the outside. There are no scientists in the world who argue anything contrary to this. They all agree with this be they irreligious or believers. It is an explicit fact.
PRESENTER: I understand.
ADNAN OKTAR: But only one person in a million in society knows about this truth. Very few people know it. For example, someone has a fight. But he has a fight with a person in his own brain. He can never fight with the person on the outside. Allah creates that fight. For instance he shouts and screams and becomes quite furious, saying, "All my money has gone" or "My house has burnt down." But it is the money in his brain that disappears, or the house in his brain that burns down. Someone counting his dollars is actually counting the dollars in his brain. He can never have direct experience with the dollars on the outside. The electric impulses received from his eyes transmit the image of those dollars to his brain. The electric current is then turned into dollars in his brain. It becomes a perceivable image and the soul sees it. And the person has experience of the illusory dollars in his brain. He can never come in contact with the real.
PRESENTER: So when that man is weeping over his house that has burned down, he is weeping for the house in his brain. But the house on the outside is also burning down at the same time. Isn't it?
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course there is a house on the outside. It has existence on the outside but…
PRESENTER: It [the house on the outside] is also burning.
ADNAN OKTAR: [But] not in the way he supposes. If he saw the burning outside, for instance when a thing burns it gives off great light, but burning on the outside does not take place in that way.
PRESENTER: How does it happen? Do we know how it is?
ADNAN OKTAR: The outside is as black as pitch. So in essence burning gives off no light. And matter is transparent, because its structure is transparent. For example, there are no sounds of sirens on the outside. The sound of the siren is created in the brain. When the fire engines arrive, they do so with flashing red lights. But there is no such thing as red color on the outside. The brain interprets it as red. That is the marvel of Allah's creation. In other words, it is not matter at all in the sense we are familiar with. That is also created as a shadow entity on the outside. Allah is the absolute entity and those we see are not entities in the sense that we perceive, they all are created as shadow entities. Allah is the only absolute being. Allah is outside time and space, in other words He is beyond time and space. But we are bound with time and space.
PRESENTER: So we cannot perceive it.
ADNAN OKTAR: Right. People are pretty much unaware of this fact. For example, I talk about Darwinism, but if people knew about this topic, it would be impossible for them to be Darwinists, because this is something far over and above Darwinism. Darwinism would just melt away in it, it would evaporate. Nobody would ever appeal to Darwinism at all because this is the reality that causes Darwinism and all other heretical philosophies to evaporate away into nothing.
ALTUG BERKER: The Hereafter is thus comprehended fully.
ADNAN OKTAR: One will understand the Hereafter, death and everything else then. He will comprehend the might of Allah, the Paradise and Hell and everything else. But it terrifies people, so they are reluctant to think about it. It does not serve the purpose of some people, while some are afraid to ponder on it. And there are others that really do not understand.
PRESENTER: That may be. Everyone's capacity of understanding is different, so they may not understand.
ADNAN OKTAR: But a person with a soul understands it, in other words one has to have a soul. It is impossible for one to have a soul and not grasp this fact. If he is a specially created being, and I mean if Allah has not breathed His spirit into him, he cannot comprehend it. One cannot grasp this fact if he is a dead entity. As you know, not all people are alive. Many people are dead, these are wandering around outside. Allah states this in a verse of the Qur'an,
PRESENTER: I did not know that.
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. Allah states that "(They are things) dead, lifeless" (Surah An-Nahl, 21), and says you know not.
ALTUG BERKER: They have "eyes wherewith they see not." (Surah Al-Araf, 179)
ADNAN OKTAR: They have eyes to see with, He says. But their eyes do not see. They have ears to hear with, but their ears do not hear, He says. (Surah Al-Araf, 195)
PRESENTER: So people like that are the ones who do not understand.
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, they do not understand. When I say they do not understand, it is not from a lack of conception, but because they are robotic. Such human beings consist of flesh and bone, nothing else. They talk and act with the third identity in their brains. You therefore imagine they are conscious. People sometimes wake up and talk in their dreams, have you ever seen that? They talk and give normal, rational replies. For example, if you ask, "How are you?" the person dreaming will say, "very well, thanks." But he is actually asleep and has no idea what he has just said. A person goes to sleep under hypnosis and as a matter of fact, a person literally dies under hypnosis, because his soul is gone. A person under hypnosis is dead. But he stands up and his eyes are open. "Can you see me?" you ask. "Perfectly" he says. "Who am I?" you ask. "You are my friend," he answers. "How are you?" you ask. And, "very well indeed, thanks, and how are you?" he responds. Then the other person, the one in front of him says, "I am a tiger." He will really see that person as a tiger, won't he? "You see that I am a tiger right now. Yes I am a talking tiger," he says. And he responds, "Yes." In fact, he really sees that man clearly as a talking tiger. He is sure of it even if it does not exist. At that moment, he is a dead entity. Allah shows him this, in that form. But when he wakes up, he enters an entirely different world. Hypnotists know all about this. It is something widespread and well-known. Have you ever thought about this before, Pelin? This aspect of matter?
PRESENTER: No.
ADNAN OKTAR: You have never done so, have you?
PRESENTER: No.
ADNAN OKTAR: For example, if a person wants he can enter into his brain, in other words a person is able to draw himself into his consciousness. When he enters into his consciousness, that flesh and bone may assume a different state. A person may become something totally different.
PRESENTER: How?
ADNAN OKTAR: He literally feels that he is a soul. He comprehends he is solely a soul. He feels he is a soul consisting of an image, because one only has direct experience of the image in his brain. Nobody has ever had any contact with matter on the outside, nobody since the time of the Prophet Adam (pbuh). That is impossible. Only Allah knows the original matter on the outside. Human beings cannot know it. But this reality is being explained to the people so clearly that, in my view, it will become much clearer in the years ahead, and more people will grasp and many more will understand this reality.
