Muslims should strive for the salvation of the whole Islamic world not only for the salvation of Palestine

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9 TV dated January 15th, 2011

ADNAN OKTAR: During the celebrations of the [47th] anniversary of Al-Fatah, the senior religious authority of Palestine, Mufti [Muhammed Hussein] stated: "The destiny of Muslims is to murder Jews. The Day of Judgment will only come about when Muslims kill Jews."

So he [Mufti] says; "once Jews are killed, Muslims will attain relief. There will then be no hindrance before the Turkish-Islamic Union. Everything will turn out to be splendid, this is all it takes." Well, what if you unite without murdering the Jews? What would you lose? May Allah forbid, let us assume that you have made such a massacre; what would you do afterwards? You will keep on brewing your shisha (nargeela), and lie down, scratching your tummy. Do the Jews tell you not to read the Qur'an? Do they tell you not to establish the Islamic Union? Do they want you not to struggle against Darwinism and materialism? Do the Jews hinder your way? It is your governments that make it obligatory to teach Darwinism and materialism. Do the Jewish prime ministers make it obligatory? Or do the Jewish Presidents make it obligatory? You do that yourselves; You do believe in Darwinism and materialism anyway.

In Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Palestine.. Palestine used to be the fortress of communism. Palestine was the place where people received communist training. People all over the world used to go there to get guerilla training. Did Jews conduct the communist training there? You did. Did Jews establish the communist guerilla camps? You did. You can go nowhere by bloodshed. Allah will inflict affliction upon you if you shed blood; you will simply be on a downward spiral of troubles. Pull yourselves together. I address to all those who are pro-murder.

Jews are the descent of the prophets; Allah predestined them as Jews. They live as Jews. The Qur'an refers to them as the People of the Book. The People of the Book are under the aegis of Muslims. Their lives, possessions, honor and chastity are under the aegis of Muslims. Muslims can marry ladies from the People of the Book, they can make commerce with them, eat their food; one can't simply go and kill them. In this case, let's assume that one has a Jewish wife; will he go and kill her as well? According to this mindset, right?  They say there is a hadith which reads "Stones, trees will provide information." Notice what he [Mufti] said; "Our war is of a war with the forefathers of apes and swine." May Allah forbid, he considers the entire community of the People of the Book as apes and swine. Does Allah refer to them as "apes and swine" in the Qur'an? They are referred as "the People of the Book." Does Allah tell us to go marry apes and swine in the Qur'an?  Allah says, "Marry with the People of the Book", right? He says; "You can marry with the People of the Book." Now according to the mindset of this person, that person would be marrying an ape or a swine by doing that. Again in compliance with this mindset, their children would also become apes and swine. Does Allah tell us to go and eat the food of apes and swine or does He tell us that we can eat the food of the People of the Book? "You can eat the food of the People of the Book, you can marry with the People of the Book," says Allah. They must not misbehave, act unscrupulously. They are thus waging a war against the Qur'an; they are unaware of what they are telling. Their ears do not hear what they utter. That expression referred to a specific community of the time that revolted against Allah. "Be apes and swine." Right now Allah also turns the bigots into apes and swine. Whoever wages a war against Allah and the Qur'an, that person turns into an ape or a swine. Therefore it is haram (unlawful) to say that stones and trees will point to every Jew and you will kill Jews altogether, whether a girl, woman or a child. This is unbecoming for a Muslim to utter; it is an encouragement to massacre, to a genocide. It is persecution and it is wholly in contradiction with the Qur'an. Allah would not command us to go and kill them after telling us that we can marry them. Allah would not tell us to go kill them after He tells us that we can eat their meals. If Allah calls them "the People of the Book", then He does not tell us to go and kill them. "Stones and trees providing information" is a sign that refers to the structuring of the security intelligence at the End Times. I recently said that as well. I said that secret cameras should be installed in rocks and trees to be used in the technical surveillance of the terror organization of the PKK. Indeed it is currently being done. One may be a Jew or a Christian, a Muslim or a Buddhist. If he is immoral, someone committing persecution, then he must be subject to technical surveillance and arrested. Isn't a Muslim who is cruel also arrested? So, that is okay.. If needed, [also a Muslim] is punished. Anyone committing persecution -whether a Christian, a Buddhist or a Muslim- would be treated in compliance with the same provision.  Consequently this is not an issue peculiar to Jews. If a Jew commits a crime, he is also punished. They also punish those criminals among them, they imprison them. They penalize those criminals. They subject them to technical surveillance as well. This is a hadith that refers to the technical surveillance that will be carried out at the End Times. Or else, if one talks about the annihilation of our Jewish brothers, the descent of Prophet Abraham (pbuh), the descent of the Prophet Israel (pbuh), the descent of Prophet Joseph (pbuh) and Prophet Solomon (pbuh), solely depending on this hadith, despite the provisions of the Qur'an; then this means that this guy also rejects the verses of the Qur'an. According to this hadith, he should not adopt the other verses of the Qur'an [May Allah forbid]. That is because he can take a Jewish wife, then he will look at this hadith and say to his wife; "I learned that you are a swine, an ape", "Even if you hide behind a stone or a tree, I will kill you." He will kill his wife just before his kids, is that it? This would be a murder, a persecution and an insanity. A Muslim would never say such a thing. Under the influence of mass psychology they put forward such aberrant sentiments, such erroneous views. Such societies absorbed in grudge and envy consisting of people growing up with lack of love embrace this. Rather than getting involved in such persecution and making effort solely for the salvation of Palestine, say; "let us struggle for the salvation of the entire Islamic world. Let us demand the Unity of Islam and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). May Allah make Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) our leader". Jews await King Messiah and we are awaiting Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). They are the same person. A Muslim must say "Let us live altogether in bliss and unite." Jews must also feel comfortable, why would we kill them? May also Christians feel at ease, and so do the Muslims. May everyone feel at ease. You do not want the Unity of Islam. You are far-removed from the Unity of Islam. You do not embrace it. You do not embrace Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), the King Messiah. You do not accept the descent of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and then you say that we must act despotically. You say that we must annihilate everyone through mass-execution. Will you even stop there? Let us say you annihilated the Jews as a whole. Then it will be the turn of Christians. You will also annihilate them. Then it will be our Shia brothers' turn. The man says that he will also chop them up like leek. He says " like leek" Then you will chop the Jaferites, the Alawites, the Bektashis, the Wahabites, the Buddhists and the communists.

Almost no one will remain left on earth. You already reprehend those who are not the members of your own sect, your own community; you will also chop them up. Allah does not give way to such aberrant notions, such ideas and those have always remained as oppressed people. They have always been losers. Prosperity does not come through persecution. Persecution is not to be encouraged. There is peace, love and compassion in the Qur'an. Muslims are responsible for protecting the People of the Book. This was what was practiced in the time of our Prophet (saas). Muslims used to revere the churches, their synagogues. In the Qur'an Allah relates that churches and synagogues are under protection. They are under the protection of Muslims. They can perform their religious obligations as ever they like. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) who will come in the End Times will treat Jews with the original of the Torah, Christians with the original of the Gospel and Muslims with the morality of the Qur'an. This is the word of our Prophet (saas) revealed to him. This is the true word. That is why encouraging people to such erroneous convictions, views would be haram. That would be a sin, very wrong and it is a persecution. An unwise suggests an idea and big masses may follow it because they instructed the masses in compliance with rage and grudge. For instance look at Facebook; people are full of hatred, rage. Expressions of love are very scarce. I see that even young girls curse one another with sexual content. They formed abbreviations of curses, all having sexual content. They curse almost after each statement. Then they say, "Why do you say 'Insha'Allah' almost after each word? And I ask you; why do you add a curse after each word? We do add the words "Insha'Allah" and "Masha'Allah" after everything we say and you do add the abbreviations of curses with sexual content at the end of every sentence.  What you are doing is wrong; what we are doing is right. Insha'Allah.

Dr. Timothy Furnish asks Mr. Adnan Oktar about the Iranian viewpoint of the Hazrat Mahdi's rule

(Istanbul, December 14th, 2008)

TIMOTHY FURNISH: Again when I was in Iran at that conference a few months ago. I heard one paper given by an Iranian scholar discussing seriously the question whether the Mahdi and the twelve Imams, of course according to the Iranian view. When the Mahdi and the twelve Imam come, and I am asking the question in this paper by the Iranian scholar, will the Mahdi kill Jews and Christians or simply convert them? And he did say that would probably convert them but he wasn't sure. And then at the end of the conference Ali Larijani, the speaker of the Iranian parliament, gave a speech in which he quoted one of the Imams, I believe it was the sixth imam, that the Mahdi's rule will only come about through bloodshed and violence. Now I know you have already spoken about the wrong views of the Hizb ut-Tahrirs and the Al-Qaidas of the world, but would you respond in the same way, I guess is my question, to the Iranian viewpoint, at least the viewpoint that I saw expressed in Iran when I was there among some scholars?
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, this are not statement that are based on hadith, or based on the Qur'an. These have gradually altered over the course of time, and are accounts that are not truly reliable hadith. The main characteristic of the Mahdi (pbuh) is that he does not shed blood, but is affectionate and compassionate and acts in a rational manner. He says that the Mahdi (pbuh) will even conquer Istanbul, but with the takbir, in other words by calling on Allah. No mentioning of shedding blood there. Said Nursi says that the materialist, Darwinist system will grow as he describes the Mahdi (pbuh). He says the Mahdi (pbuh) will entirely eradicate the materialist-Marxist system. He says he will eliminate the materialist-Darwinist system intellectually and scientifically. He says that books will be prepared to that end, he will prepare them and the books will fully discharge that function. He will be active in that respect, in summary. And he says he will start doing this in the year 1400 (hegira style). But he says that not even the Mahdi (pbuh) will know himself. He says his close disciples will recognize him through the light of faith. The same is also valid for Jesus (pbuh). He will not be aware of himself when he first returned but the close disciples of the Jesus will recognize him through the light of faith. That is why the description of the Mahdi there is rather more appropriate to that of the dajjal. I mean the Mahdi (pbuh) is not someone cruel, a shedder of blood, loveless and ruthless. We are told he will not waken the sleeper nor spill blood. Imagine the sleeping man; he will take great care to let him sleep. Don't touch him, let him sleep, he will say. That is the kind of scrupulous person he is. We are told even the birds in the air and the fish in the sea will be happy with him. It is wrong to depict such an affectionate person as violent. There is no account to that effect. The Prophet (saas) has made no such statement. And it is incompatible with the spirit of the Qur'an. In addition, violence leads only to hypocrisy. It results in insincere people. Nobody can be forced to be a Muslim. That is done through love, and affection, and moderation. A person will either accept it or not. If not, that is his decision. That is how Allah has created him, and that, too, is for the best.

Mr. Adnan Oktar explains Dr. Timothy Furnish the alliance of Christians and Muslims in the End Times

(Istanbul, December 14th, 2008)

TIMOTHY FURNISH: At one point you have written that; quote: "Setting up the Islamic Union will cause the danger of the clash of civilizations to disappear" which sounds like sort of what we are talking about here, but isn't there a sense in which an Islamic Union seems to foster the clash of civilizations by setting up particularly Islam in an Islamic Alliance, I guess against the Christian Alliance.
ADNAN OKTAR: The Islamic Union is not opposed to a Christian alliance. It is a union that allies itself with Christianity. Because we are talking of the coming of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) will return in 10 or 15 years. Christians and Jews and Muslims are all awaiting him with great excitement. Jews are also awaiting the Messiah, but the Messiah we and Christians in particular are awaiting is the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). We are awaiting the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) together with the Christian world and experiencing the excitement of that. So how can they be diametrically opposed to us? We have a common love and expectation, we are awaiting the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). There will therefore be a complete alliance, and no division.

Dr. Timothy Furnish asks Mr. Adnan Oktar about the perception of the West in the Islamic Union

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Conversation with Dr. Timothy Furnish, Istanbul, December 14th, 2008

TIMOTHY FURNISH: There are some in the West, in the United States and in Europe particularly, who probably would see an Islamic Union as a threat. What would you say to anyone who might see it that way?
ADNAN OKTAR: This is a union that removes threat. It is a system that eliminates terror, violence and the concept of hostility toward other countries, that eliminates racial and religious hostility. There is a huge respect for other faiths in this system, and a feeling of protecting them, deep respect and affection for them and a conception of love, and a desire for all countries to be strong, healthy and at peace. There is no idea of any country being brought down, but one of all countries remaining healthy and good, of every country having its own color and beauty. That is why it is a system that eliminates threats. Because it is a system with no racial superiority, but one that is exceedingly respectful of other faiths.

Prof. Robert S. Wistrich asks Mr. Adnan Oktar about the revival of belief in Israel and Turkey

Mr. Adnan Oktar explains the essential factors underlying this current economic crisis

(Indo Asian News Agency (IANS) - November 14th, 2008)
LALIT K. JHA: I was reading one of the articles written by you and in one of those you did mention about the current economic crisis and you said that the interest rates charged by banks are probably one of the main factors responsible for it. Could you eleborate on it and then what is the solution to the grand economic crisis that the world is facing?
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course I will be saying the same things again. The essential factors underlying this current economic crisis is the high interest rates, people’s failing to put trust in Allah, fear, that is to say, expectation of the worst from the future, amassing fortune and property, and avoidance from spending, not being generous in giving away to the poor and being mean. These are the causes for such occurrences. If money is distributed, money circulates and production increases. When money is withheld, property is also withheld. When property is withheld, production is withheld. Then the system comes to a total death. This is due to the egotism, selfishness of some people.

Mr. Adnan Oktar: A genuine Muslim, a person of faith, would absolutely be against terror

(Der Spiegel, September 14th, 2008)

INTERVIEWER: Alright. You refer I guess, to his remarks that root of terrorism is religion. I think this is what Dawkins wrote more or less. In contrast, you consider atheism as the root of evil and terrorism.

ADNAN OKTAR: To date, Darwinism has laid the groundwork for Hitler’s and Mussolini’s fascism and Stalin’s communism and communist applications. And when we look at the present day, we see that all the members of terrorist organisations, those that portray themselves as Muslim organisations also, are Darwinists, and atheists. That is to say, a faithful person who prays regularly and worships does not go and plant bombs here and there. It is just people who pretend to be Muslims, those who depict themselves as Muslims, who perpetrate bombings or Darwinists who make it clear that they are terrorists or communists who commit terrorism. Consequently they are all Darwinists. A person of true faith who has fear of Allah, who loves Allah, can neither commit terrorism, nor refrain from describing its horrors. A genuine Muslim, a person of faith, is absolutely against terror and can never accept terror.

INTERVIEWER: It is quite hard to imagine that someone like Bin Laden would ever embrace Darwin and Darwinism.

ADNAN OKTAR: It is not as it seems. You do not see that appearance and style in such people in their youth. I mean, they assume this guise later in their lives. Yet, when their actual faith is scrutinized, when an attentive examination is made of their true faith, the fact emerges that they are genuine materialists and Darwinists. That is because it is impossible for a person with fear of Allah to commit such acts, because of his faith. In other words, his will refuses to permit him to engage in such acts. If he is capable of engaging in them, that means there is a weakness in his faith in Allah, or that he has no faith whatsoever. Most of these people are therefore Darwinists. Such acts are committed by people who were educated abroad, who received a Darwinist education and who internalized Darwinism, but who later called themselves Muslims. When scrutinized carefully, when their speech and writings are carefully analysed, we see that all these people are Darwinists.

Lalit K. Jha of Indo Asian News Agency asks Mr. Adnan Oktar about the conflict in Kashmir

Lalit K. Jha of Indo Asian News Agency asks Mr. Adnan Oktar about the conflict in Kashmir
(Indo Asian News Agency (IANS) - November 14th, 2008)

LALIT K. JHA: India and Pakistan has a conflict in Kashmir. Being an Islamist leader, what is your view on resolving that conflict?
ADNAN OKTAR: Mutual compassion, love and tolerance, because a person does not feel happy with a piece of land. One is happy with love and faith. Love felt for human beings, faith, mutual understanding, mutual trust will I think solve these problems. For instance, I guess that you are a Hindu, but you are my brother, I feel compassion and affection for you. You are also a servant of Allah and I respect your views and your faith. Consequently I do not have any feelings of animosity towards you. And I think a Muslim also thinks in the same way. If there is a piece of land, for instance, there is no need to quarrel over it whether it belongs to one or the other. Both sides should agree on the most honest, the most sincere, and the most rational situation. The most conscientious decision should be adopted. Then the matter will be resolved, but of course there should be a referee. The fact is that, there is a need for people from the outside. That is to say, arbitration is important in such matters.
LALIT K. JHA: So you are basicly supporting a peaceful dialogue between India and Pakistan with possibly a third party to ensure this peace in the country. This brings me to the role of Turkey in playing the role of in between Afghanistan and Pakistan, Turkey being possibly a third party to ensure peace between those countries. How do you see the Turkey's role in Afghanistan and the conflict that is going on there?
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, there needs to be a very strong cultural policy there. That is to say, love, compassion, friendship, forgiveness, tolerance, being well mannered,  brotherhood and beauty should be propagated. We should propagate to have beauty and aesthetics all around us. These values need to be communicated to people. Everyone feels comfortable when such an environment is secured. That is to say, you are a Hindu, for instance, another person might be a Budhist or another person might have adopted another belief. Allah created all of us with various beliefs. Yet all of us are brothers, that is to say, Allah creates it this way. In other words, people live their lives in the way they are created by Allah. For this reason, beautiful environments, beautiful words, and beautiful speech remove the tension, urge people to a more peaceful, affectionate life. The world is large enough to provide room for everyone. The world is not a place for so much fight and conflict. This is a place to worship Allah, an environment to earn the pleasure of Allah.

Mr. Adnan Oktar explains what jihad (striving) means in Islam

Mr. Adnan Oktar explains what jihad means in Islam
(Indo Asian News Agency (IANS) - November 14th, 2008)
LALIT K. JHA: Thank you. Can we shift to another topic? Radical Islam, Islamism. Being an Islamic leader, all over the world you see this increasing trend of what the Western media say about Islamic radicalism. In Pakistan, Afghanistan and in other parts of the world... The growth of Taliban, al-Qaida. What is your opinion about all these issues?
ADNAN OKTAR: Islam has a spirit, an essence and purpose. This is compassion, mercy, love, cooperation, forgiveness, happiness, joy, adorning the surroundings, having love towards everything, and to seek Allah's compassion above everything. Every organisation and each endeavor failing to accomplish these do not act in compliance with the spirit of Islam. Consequently, they are erroneous thoughts. Having this condense information, it is possible to discern between what is normal and deviant.
LALIT K. JHA: So, from this what I get in essence is that you don't support al-Qaida, al-Taliban, the way they are progressing towards the concept of jihad.
ADNAN OKTAR: Essentiallly there is jihad in Islam, jihad means "to strive, to make effort". That is to say, one approaches people with love and compassion. One convinces them with scientific and intellectual evidence. One tells them the love of Allah, the beauties of the Qur'an and its righteous aspects. One tells the invalidity of Darwinism, materialism, and the malice of fascism and communism. That is the "jihad", that is to say, beating someone in the head is not jihad.

Prof. Robert S. Wistrich asks Mr. Adnan Oktar about the Holocaust, mass murder of innocent people of Europe

Prof. Robert S. Wistrich asks Mr. Adnan Oktar about the Holocaust, mass murder of innocent people of Europe
(A9 TV, November 24th, 2011)

PROF. ROBERT S. WISTRICH: I would like to follow up on this point concerning the ideology and the beliefs of the Iranian leadership, because as you know, I am, among other things, a scholar of the history of anti-Semitism, a subject about which I've written extensively. And I've been struck by the fact that in Iran today, even in the official media, and the statements of the President, Ahmadinejad and other leaders, you have the claim that the Holocaust, the mass murder of the Jews of Europe, did not take place, or in any case, it's something that we have to question and in general, this is a deeply offensive as well as false belief, and I don't think it has any basis whatsoever in Muslim belief or teaching. So I'd be interested to hear what Mr. Oktar thinks about that.

ADNAN OKTAR: Genocide was clearly and openly committed against the Jews, and that was devilish work. It was a ruthless plan by the way of the dajjal [anti-christ] to eliminate the line of the Prophets, the line of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh). And thousand, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of Jews were horribly and ruthlessly slaughtered. That is a fact, and there can be no logical denial of it. There is no need to reply to such things, either. It is not that kind of subject, in my opinion. In fact that is not the problem anyway. I mean, there is still a desire for slaughter out there. There is this claim that "Israel will be obliterated, that this imaginary Mahdi will turn Israel into a sea of blood". That is the really terrible thing. That is what needs to be eradicated. That belief needs to be done away with. Because the Mahdi who will come, will not shed one drop of blood nor waken the sleeper. Our Prophet (saas) even says that nobody's nose will bleed when the Mahdi comes. He will do away with all weaponry. Peace, justice, love and beauty will enfold the whole world. When someone looks at the perfect, wondrous way of the Mahdi through the eyes of satan he may seek to change it into the way of the dajjal [anti-christ]. The view we are now dealing with is that which is seeking to portray the way of the Mahdi as the way of the dajjal. But I believe this can be eliminated through scientific activity, explanation and winning people over. This cannot be done through war.

Mr. Adnan Oktar explains Alexander Murinson that we are living in the time of King Messiah

(A9 TV, November 11th, 2011)

ADNAN OKTAR: It is now the time of the King Messiah, the Shiloh. Both according to the Torah and according to the hadiths, there is no time other than this. We are at the End of Times, we are at the treshold of the Last Day. Apart from this century there is no other time for the appearance of the King Messiah. There is no other time for the arrival of the Mahdi. The foundation of the state of Israel is itself a portent of the arrival of the Mahdi, the Moschiah. All the portents defined in the Torah have been realized. All the portents defined in the hadiths of our Prophet (saas) have been realized. The weapons will be removed, the armings will stop from that on. The money spent of weapons will be directed to the natural needs like food and clothing of the poor and the needy. From that point on the dissension and anarchy would decrease gradually and disappear.

The 7 thousand years mentioned in the hadiths as the lifespan of the world refers to the beginning of a calendar

The 7 thousand years mentioned in the hadiths as the lifespan of the world refers to the beginning of a calendar

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated December 12th, 2011

ADNAN OKTAR: Well, this friend of ours has been obsessed with this matter; we've been explaining it time after time and they still fail to understand. They've been saying ; "Master you are talking about many million years old fossils,  there is a link in your website which shows a fifteen thousand years old fossil." My brother that seven thousand years does not mean that the world has been created only seven thousand years ago. That is a calendar of seven thousand years. Now we are in 2011, are we not?

PRESENTER: Yes.

ADNAN OKTAR: Has the world been created 2011 years ago? No, it has not. It is 1433 according to the Hegira calendar. So has the world been created 1433 years ago? No, it has not.  This seven thousand years is a calendar. The creation of the Prophet Adam (pbuh) dates back to approximately 200 thousand years or so, in my opinion. I mean it should be about 150 thousand to 200 thousand years ago, or let us say it was 100 thousand years ago.  Insha'Allah. I mean it is about those dates. Insha'Allah. That is because they are unable to make such a precise and definitive determination. But it is about that much..

Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) would not let any adverseness against Islam and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)

Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) would not let any adverseness against Islam and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated December 13th, 2011

ADNAN OKTAR: "Master, it might be because of the green color on you but tonight when we look at you Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) comes to mind the most, Masha'Allah. You have not been telling us about Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) for a while now. Would it be possible if you could tell us about the activities of Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) in these days? You would know better insha'Allah."

He [Hazrat Khidr (pbuh)] plays a trick on those who fall afoul of Mahdi (pbuh), of Islam; those who fall afoul of the Union of Islam. He gets them into troubles, he crashes their heads [intellectually]. Let me not mention the methods he adopts [while doing this]. I mean he crashes the heads of all those vermin wherever they are, insha'Allah.

Hypocrites come among the Muslims like a snake and they leave like a snake

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated September 28th, 2011

ADNAN OKTAR: Men and women hypocrites, yes.. Hypocrites by the Wisdom of Allah consider appearing like a Muslim to be very important. Even though they are irreligious, even though they hate religion they insistently desire to look like Muslims and they without fail act as a group. Hypocrites cannot leave one another. They leave the Muslim community; they leave the Muslim group; hypocrites are tumors among them [Muslims], they are like a cancerous tumor and Allah rips that tumor apart but that tumor survives like the tail of a lizard, it does not die. It goes again and establishes a small colony outside. They still quarrel among themselves like dogs. They hate each other but they do not separate. They continue to live like a colony and again continue to make propaganda against the Muslims, they try to gather information against the Muslims, and they denounce Muslims in here and there. They strive to perform that evil task. And they talk about Allah and religion in the meantime. I mean as a characteristic they continue to do these simultaneously, as the Wisdom of Allah.  Yes you go on..

PRESENTER: Astagfirullah.. The hypocrites of the time used to cast slanders against His Highness Bediuzzaman as well, and they were attacking in their own minds. And the Master explains the betrayal of hypocrites with a very erudite and a very nice manner insha'Allah. "Those who help the ruthless are among the ones who are competent of despicableness in this world. Dogs are the ones who enjoy serving the ruthless. Yes some are acting like a snake, some are acting like a dog. In such a blessed night, while blessed guests are on a blessed prayer, the slap in the meaning of this poem, of course, serves right to those sleuthing and denouncing us and attacking us as if we are committing a murder. " Letters, 345. Masha'Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, I mean, they really are like snakes. They come among the Muslim community like a snake and they leave like a snake and they act like a snake. Yet they have an evil intelligence. That is why, not everyone can handle hypocrites. I mean they have an evil determination and evil effort. They feel hatred towards the Muslims with an insane rage. They spend their money, their wealth, all their means always in this direction; that is to harm Islam, but they do so under the guise of defending Islam and they continue to do that under the guise of mentioning the name of Allah.  What is more they are enemies to one another as well. This is a very important characteristic of theirs. Allah says that their hearts are irreconcilable. They constantly seek to gather information about the Muslims from the outside. Allah says; "They wait to hear your news from the outside". This is a characteristic of the hypocrite. They boast about their possessions, they boast about their wealth, they boast about their income, they boast about their family, they boast about their profits, they boast about their flesh and bones, they boast about their education; yet they only cannot boast about preaching the religion, they cannot boast about the struggling in the Way of Allah, they cannot boast about spreading the religion of Allah, they cannot boast about their being victorious over the satan. Apart from these the hypocrite boasts about everything. This is a characteristic of theirs. They cannot boast about defending the Union of Islam, they cannot boast about advocating the Turkish-Islamic Union, they cannot boast about defending Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), they cannot boast about talking about the coming of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). The appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and the coming of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) are means of torment for hypocrites.  This is the subject matter they most fiercely argue against, this is one of those matters that suffocate them. That is because they both- both the Prophet Jesus Messiah (pbuh)  and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)- are anti-hypocrites; hypocrites are very fiercely hostile towards both of these two holy people

Belief in a Ghost Mahdi harms Muslims

Belief in a Ghost Mahdi harms Muslims

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated September 12th, 2011

ADNAN OKTAR: "As-salamun Alaykom my dear Master Mohammed Ali Adnan. The information that is sent to you about the subject matter concerning the system of the Mahdi in the Shia belief is totally erroneous, insha'Allah.  That is because when we look into the Shia belief we see that there is no such belief. There is yet a belief that states Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) would withdraw for ghaybat (occultation) but the belief which states that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) would be lost in a well while he is still a child is erroneous. Would you please make this matter an agenda and make this explanation about the Shia belief. There is no such belief in Shia, there has never ever been,"  he says insha'Allah. " We are waiting for his appearance. There is a belief that states he would be unseen for a while but.." Yet my dear one, is that not the same belief? "There is no such belief which states that he would come out from a well," and here you say; "he has somehow become unseen." You say "he has gone into a well and been lost," you say and that is even more dangerous.  In a well you might think that his skeleton would be found in the least, but that is not the case. You say "there is no well, he is a spirit." I mean he has gone into a cave and came out from that cave as a spirit and has enwrapped the whole world [you say]. I mean that belief exists, that exists and it is a very grave, very gross danger. Look you have made a country like Turkey, which loves Iran as much as herself, obliged to build a missile defense system. The only reason for that is the belief in the Ghost Mahdi, there is no other reason. He says; "Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) has appeared to me." What would you do then? Here you are, he says; "he appeared to me as a light." What would we do if he says he told me to "hang and cut them off."

And in the Shia accounts, in contrast to the hadiths of our Prophet (saas),  in contrary to the statements of our Prophet (saas), it is said that "Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will shed blood in streams." It is stated that "he would soak a great part of the world in the sea of blood." Here you go.. When one says he had appeared in the form of light, what would we then do? He would say; he [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] went into the cave, came out of there as a spirit, he had withdrew to an occultation; he is living as a spirit for hundreds of years; he gets in everyone's houses as a spirit and appears as a soul,  one day he would appear to the state executives, soldiers, chief of staff as a spirit and give orders to them." And that is what has been said about him, then here you go, the trouble is at the door. Mohammed Mahdi (pbuh) our Prophet (saas) has been talking about is compassionate, merciful, he does not shed blood, he does not want even shed a drop of blood; The Messenger of Allah (saas) says; "He would not even cause any one's nose to bleed." Who says this? Suyuti says this, Ibh Hajad al-Haytami al-Makki say this. Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Ibn-i Majah, Sunan an-Nasai, Sunan ad-Dawud, this is mentioned in all hadiths books. Do not do this, this is so clear.  I mean if we get into this matter, I can prove this to you. Do not tell me ; "there is no such thing," because there is. There is such a belief and that is quite extensive. We are in a grave trouble, there needs to be a precaution taken in the face of this, insha'Allah.

It is very important for Muslims to keep their faith strong and to think deep

It is very important for Muslims to keep their faith strong and to think deep

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated  September 10th, 2011

ADNAN OKTAR: Look, I have said this yesterday as well. Those who look at the Qur'an must examine it as very rationally as a whole. What does Allah emphasize the most? Allah always emphasizes the abnormalities of disbelief and how believers must be fixed in their faith against it; believers being strong and thinking and investigating and always being on the side of Allah. I mean, as far as we see, 80% or 90% this is discussed in the Qur'an. And [what is also mentioned is] holding up with the strength of faith; we must always ask Allah to keep our faith strong.
Look for instance, some people say; this is Surah Ya Sin, 78. I have turned a random page. You can look for this yourself, everyone can; this is something prevalent in the Qur'an. I seek refuge with Allah from the satan. With the name of Allah All-Merciful Most- Merciful.
"He makes likenesses of Us and forgets his own Creation, saying, 'Who will give life to bones when they are decayed'?"
What is this? This is weakness of faith. He cannot believe. What do you need in the face of that? Ascertained faith, perception of truth, genuine faith is required. Look, Almighty Allah says; "Say 'He Who made them in the first place will bring them back to life. He has total knowledge of each created thing'.."
What is this? This is a sign leading to faith, because Almighty Allah encourages people to think. Look, He says; "He, Who made them in the first place will bring them back to life." We see that the human beings are created most perfectly. They are created in the first place. Let us think of this pen for instance, it has been made once. Could the factory make another one, or not? Yes, it could. Why ever not? If we were to say; "you cannot do this another time", could one say that? It is obvious that it can. Can a craftsman who makes one chair not make another? Yes, he can. That applies to everything. Allah also says "I made them in the first place.. so would I not do it again?" Allah reminds us that human beings cannot devise even such an easy thing. Look, even something that is so easy cannot be devised by billions of people. Then they say, "Actually, that is really true. I never thought about that before." I mean, this is how superficial people tend to think. That is why Allah reminds us this.
Their way of thinking is so impaired that they say, "Who will give life to bones when they are decayed?" Since they are materialists, they say, "Once matter has gone it is all over." Since they look at things from a materialist perspective. They are unable to equate matter and the soul since they deny the existence of the soul. That is weakness of faith. "He Who produces fire for you from green trees." Allah also notes the greenness of wood and says He has made it flammable. He draws attention to the greenness of wood and its inflammability. Allah opens our horizons. But it never even occurs to people. In other words, Allah's Creation of trees in such a form that they can be burned, and their arising from green plants and growing from the soil out of nothing. From soil and water, soon becomes something capable of being burned. Look, that is soil; can you burn soil? No you cannot. Can water burn? No. But water and soil combine together, after a while you look and see that something flammable has emerged. Then you look and see that fruits are formed after a while. Oranges, apples, mandarins, walnuts, melons, watermelons, beans, lentils and whatever else you can think of comes out form the soil. "He Who produces fire for you from green trees." Allah broadens our horizons. He encourages us to see the signs leading to faith and to think. He reminds us to reflect in order to expand our horizons. When we reflect on it we start thinking of a whole chain of other things. Allah does this so we should think of other things. "Does He Who created the heavens and earth not have the power to create the same again?" There is another logic here. Has He created the atmosphere in the most perfect form? Yes, He has. He also created the soil. Does not Allah cause this Earth to float like a feather in the boundless vastness of space? We are like in a ship at the moment. The whole world, all 7 billion people are like in a vessel. We are floating about like a feather along with the world in the boundless vastness of space. Never running aground or suffering any turbulence. Take a car. No matter what equipment they provide, cars still rock about, as do planes. But there is not the slightest turbulence here. The whole world is moving through the sky. It is like soul, it just floats about like that. And nothing happens to it. Allah says; "Have I not created the earth and the skies in the first place, so why would I not create the ground and the sky of the Heaven?" In other words, Allah says; "Since I am the One Who created the man in the first place why would I not create him again?" He is encouraging us to think. But Allah does not provide so much information as to eliminate the need for our free will, that is because the test would then be meaningless. Allah prepares the ground for us to reflect. Almighty Allah says, "Does He Who created the heavens and earth not have the power to create the same again?" Of course He is. Allah does not leave it there. He encourages people to expand their minds. "He is the Creator, the All-Knowing."
Look Allah always describes Creation. And what do we always talk about? Creation. So what do they say about us? "They are creationists," they say. Because we say that "Allah created all," they call us creationists. What do they say? They say, "It was chance that created." "An idol did it," they say. But what do we say? "Allah created" ".. when He desires a thing is just to say to it, 'Be!' and it is," says Allah. Where is the evolution in that? Allah answers evolutionists like that. Evolutionists say, "It must have taken a very long time. Allah could not do so otherwise (may Allah forbid!)." But Allah says, "when He desires a thing is just to say to it, 'Be!' and it is." Allah gives a time frame. "And it is." It happens instantaneously, without any waiting period. ""Glory be to Him Who has the Dominion of all things in His Hand. To Him you will be returned."
These are all facts leading to faith, do you see?  Allah directs us to these so we will have faith and believe this. That is why the facts leading to faith are the most crucial subject. And because of this we concentrate on the signs leading to faith above all else. We concentrate on ascertained faith and we take a stand against imitated faith. Faith must not be imitated, it should ascertained, one must research as the imitated faith is weak.

Hypocrites are the most despicable people of all

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated October 9th, 2011

PRESENTER: May be you can tell us about the hypocrites Master, if you deem it to be appropriate.

ADNAN OKTAR: Hypocrite men and women. Yes, that is a strange intermediary sort of creature; I mean [they are like that] by the Wisdom of Allah. Normally people would either be godless, Bookless or faithful. Allah had also created a third intermediary type. He says "I do have faith," but he is an enemy to the Muslims. Yet they are fiercer than the unbelievers; hypocrites are more ferocious. I mean it is a crazier type, a weird type of man. Hypocrites are the most despicable people of all.

Hypocrite is more intelligent than the unbeliever. They are more deceitful, sneakier, more perfidious and more treacherous. I mean they are different. With unbelievers, they can nevertheless be talked to; you can talk to them, you can explain them things. Not hatred, but a sort of compassion, a desire to salvage them would be felt with an unbeliever. But to the hypocrite you feel hatred. They are the most despicable creatures; they are the most sordid beings. Allah promised an infinite suffering for them in Hell. For instance unbelievers act valiantly, they act very openly. The unbelievers are obvious. Their whereabouts are obvious, their places are obvious, their methods are obvious. But that is not the same with the hypocrites. A hypocrite would step up for the name of piety, for the name of the approval of Allah. They -seemingly- act for the Name of Allah. They are very hard to be sensed. They are quite capable and have a diabolic intelligence, like that of a snake. I mean you wouldn't know from where, how and what he would do [to attack].  That is why one needs to be very careful towards the hypocrites.

Even ten liras that will be used for preaching religion is of great value

Even ten liras that will be used for preaching religion is of great value

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV dated November 14th, 2011

ADNAN OKTAR:   Actually there are many people, many brothers of ours that would be beneficial. Well if I am to leave this preaching , leave these activities aside and get involved in such matters, for the sake of Allah, tell me, would your conscience accept that? Right? Even 10 liras we have is of great value.  I would buy a book for 10 liras and be instrumental in a person's salvaging his faith. We have to use all our capacity, all our means on the Way of Allah, spend all we have on the Way of Allah. [We should spend] All that we have; our attention, our time, our money, all our means, everything we have [on the Way of Allah]. And look what you are talking about? You are merely talking about a classical business. Is this something that could be said to a man of cause, to a man of struggle? I mean were we to leave aside the struggle while we are striving day and night to be instrumental in many people attaining faith and are using even the slightest means we attain for preaching Islam, preaching the Qur'an, and use our means to salvage those who went bankrupt; are we to strive for that end now? You could have relatives, your friends, your means to do that with, right? You are a businessman; you can get a bank loan, right? I mean there are banks that carry out such activities through religiously lawful ways. It can be done through encumbering with a mortgage for your business, or something similar and a bank loan can thus be taken. You can do it like that..
